Strong Stock Days For Boyd Gaming And Pinnacle Entertainment

Boyd Gaming Two of the most heralded US-based gaming companies had big days on the stock market on Wednesday. Boyd Gaming and Pinnacle Entertainment led the way in the industry, both rising over seven percent for the day.
Pinnacle was the biggest mover of all the gaming stocks. Their stock rose 12.07%, to $10.31 just before the close of the trading day. Pinnacle has been struggling much like the other gaming stocks in the past year.
For Boyd Gaming, the increase was not as spectacular as Pinnacle, but it still was enough to get excited about. Boyd closed the day at $8.99 a share. It was an increase of 6.90%, or $.58.
Other gaming companies also had good days on Wednesday. MGM Mirage stock was up 4.52%, or $.47. MGM closed at $10.87. Wynn Resorts closed at $66.54, up just under four percent.
Las Vegas Sands stock rose amidst talk of the company resuming their Macau casino project. Sands is also preparing for an initial public offering in China that is expected to raise over $3.5 billion. Sands stock closed Wednesday at $17.63.
